    Hey JohnyDeppLikesYourMom

    Welcome to TWS

From the log the only thing i'm, worried about is that you may have conflicting security systems. Comodo firewall and spybot could be uninstalled to make sure that the issue isn't security related. Often if there is a conflict on the system where access is denied it is down to priviligies and security systems

I would make sure that you are the system administrator and that you have full control over the system

Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Accounts\Change account type

and also temporarily disable the UAC

Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Accounts\Turn User Account Control On or Off
    (Restart is needed)

If after this the error message is still coming up on screen then please post back

    Regards

    Craig

Craig...do me a favor and read your private messages Razz. lol. um...i have XP Pro SP2, i don't think i have the UAC, i think that's Vista, but i'll check anyways. Comodo and Spybot don't have any issues on my computer, they never have. this has been very recent that this has occured and i have had these two working side-by-side constantly for a very long time. I am going to start up in safe mode and make sure that i am Admin on EVERYTHING. I have a virus, i am sure, and i think it's called "Premier Opinion", but the problem is....lol, I CAN'T INSTALL ANYTHING TO GET RID OF IT!!!! lol, because "Access is Denied"...how ironic (maybe?) is that crap? lol. so....i hope that i can fix this issue and pronto.

God Bless! (hope that gave you the hint this time...read your private messages)

It does'nt actually say on your profile lol

    I checked out this

    O20 - Winlogon Notify: PremierOpinion - C:\WINDOWS\system32\pmls.dll

Seems to be attached to something causing issues, the only problem being Microsoft dont see it as an issue, this is becuase it is a legitamite advertisment program and comes with certain software packages, so technically its not really a virus just Ad-ware and possibly Malware

Use HiJackThis and try to remove

    O20 - Winlogon Notify: PremierOpinion - C:\WINDOWS\system32\pmls.dll

Then download Autoruns (Does not need to be installed)

Once downloaded double click and run the program and under the Boot Execute tab make sure there is nothing there from pmsl.dll.

Then check under the Winlogon tab and check to see if HiJackThis has unregistered the .dll, if not you can delete the .dll from this section by checking the box, right clicking and selecting delete but make sure it is the registry key relating to pmls.dll (If your unsure post here a list of keys from Winlogon, there should only be one key normally)

Hopefully this will allow you to uninstall pmls.dll along with anything else its brought in, Alternatively once done you could perform a system restore back to a week or so before you had any issues and your settings should be recovered

    Regards

i don't think that will fix the issue of my inability to gain access to my stuff though. something else is blocking my access. can you give me every possible way to give myself admin rights?
