    Hello Smile

    I apologize for the delay

Firstly as i also state in these cases, "Linux isn't a Windows replacement" however it is damn good Smile

Firstly, Are you currently running in fat32 or NFTS?

This can make a difference, Also are you trying to install Puppy from a disk or from a download?

If from a disk then simply add the disk into the computer, reboot and let the PC boot from disk, usually linux disks run on reboot anyways

Follow the instructions to install and where it states "Do you want to create a partition" simply select "No" and choose to overwrite the existing partition that XP is being held on.

If from a download you have to create an iso using Magic iso or nero, Burn it onto the disk and follow the above,

If your downloading Linux please refer to the official sites for a complete and secure download bundle

    Regards

    Craig
