The .Net framework software unfortunately need previous and older versions for it to work,

For example if you have installed .Net v3.0 you must have v2 and v1 installed otherwise you will get these error messages

Use the following link and download any previous versions you may not have and then reinstall the version you want Smile

    => Microsoft .NET Framework

    Regards

You may have to manually install the framework then

First of all you need to remove the .NET Framework.

    1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

    2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.

    3. Note each version of the .NET Framework that is already installed on the computer. Then, uninstall all the versions of the .NET Framework.

    4. When you are prompted, restart the computer.

Once done you will have to clean up the MSI database state for all the versions of the .NET Framework. You can do this by downloading the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

    5. Install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility.

    6. Click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Windows Install Cleanup.

    7. In the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, remove all Windows Installer applications for the .NET Framework.

    8. Restart the computer.

    9. Download and then reinstall all the versions of the .NET Framework that were previously installed or that you want to be installed on the computer.

    This should fix your issue

    Regards

    Craig

Does it give you the same error message while using the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility?

I've installed the Net Framework and everything seems fine.

Ive found out that one OS Disc is bad and the other isn't.

The Bad one gives me the freezing issues.

The Good one gives me no freezing but gives me Net Framework problems.

So the freezing was getting very bad last night installing updates.

I don't know why the freezing comes and goes.
