    Yeah you heard right...
after my last hand full of trojans there seems to be something wrong with my sleep function.
whether I switch sleep on manually or just by closing the lid, the sleep initiates but after about 15 minutes the computer reboots again, with a closed lid.

this is a bit of a problem... ideas?

    Heya Smile

Unfortunately this is an ongoing issue with Vista which hasn't yet got a permanent fix just yet

In the meantime i would recommend changing some of the power management options in order to try and reduce this issue

    1. Click "Start" and type and select "Power Options"

    2. Select "Change Power Plan" under your select power plan

    3. Select "Change Advanced Settings"

    4. When the small window opens select "Sleep" and "Sleep" again

    5. Click on "Setting" and change it to "180minutes"

    6. Select "Power Button & Lid" and open "Sleep Button Action"

    7. Click on "Setting" and change it to "Do Nothing"

    8. Cick "OK"

Hopefully this should stop the issue your having or at least reduce it Smile

    Regards

    Craig

Well i didn't quite have all those options you mentioned there, but I set the settings to match what you wrote down.

    I'll test it and see.
    thanks
