This shows that you are using a pirated version of windows, which is illegal. Nothing we can do.

Well it doesn't mean that all the time, There is an issue sometimes with the updater where it doesn't recognise that the files have been updated and show two different versions of the installers for windows Genuine, hence given this error message,

Had it myself while trying to update XP Professional

    Try this:

    1. Click the "Start" button, then click “Run”

    2. Type in

    Code:
    iexplore http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=39204

    3. Click ‘OK’

You will be prompted to download “LegitCheckControl.cab”.

    4. Choose "Open"

Once this completes, a window will open showing two files, LegitCheckControl.dll and LegitCheckControl.inf. Keep this open.

    5. Click the "Start" button, then click “Run”

    6. Type in

    Code:
    system32

    7. Click ‘OK’.

    8. Drag the "LegitCheckControl.dll" file from the window that was open into the system32 directory.

If you are prompted to overwrite a file, choose ‘Yes’

    9. Click the Start button, then click “Run”

    10. Type

    Code:
    regsvr32 LegitCheckControl.dll

    11. Click ‘OK’.

You should see a dialog saying “DllRegisterServer in LegitCheckControl.dll succeeded.”

    12. Restart your PC and try to updadate your PC again to see if the error message goes away.
