    Hello MrMario,

    Welcome to TechWebSupport,
You will need to re-register the msiexec.exe file

    1. Log on to your computer as an administrator.
    2. Click Start, and then click Run.
    3. In the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK.
    4. At the command prompt, typemsiexec.exe /unregister, and then press ENTER.
    5. Type msiexec /regserver, and then press ENTER.
    6. Restart the computer.

    Regards

I believe the first post was the longer version of the answer that was supplied lol

Try reinstalling DirectX through this website => DirectX.Com

After performing the procedure from above it may have changed some of your setup files, reinstalling the latest version of DirectX should fix the issue

    Regards

If not let me know what is happening, Error Messages? etc

It should overwrite existing corrupt files fixing the issue but you just never know 😁

It sounds like its the Graphics drivers to me, If direct X closes its because it cant load up the relevant graphics drivers, Either it is damaged or corrupt software (This has been fixed in SP3 allegedly)

However Curcuit City's offer is pretty good, I would advise to take it there just purely for the analysis and see what they digg up

    Regards

    Hi. . .

All regcure does for you is to remove "dead" entries from the XP NT registry - the items it showed are not necessarily errors by any means.

I would like to see a dxdiag report -
START | Run | type cmd into the box - press enter | type dxdiag on the command prompt (DOS) line | Save report as a text file

Open the text file and paste it in to your next post.

    Regards. . .
