    [SOLVED] Ipod Headphones Not Working

    Post by TheRiff on Wed Aug 13, 2008 5:46 am

    As of late, my Ipod headphones are not functioning correctly when I plug them in to my Computer. They have been working for a while, but all of a sudden they stopped receiving sound and it just plays through my speakers.

    Any help on this issue would be very much appreciated.

    Hmmmmmm

    Try it with other devices to see if the sound is coming through the jack leads properly
    Not much we can do if the jack leads are faulty, Apple have a service where by if they are faulty and they will not play sound you can request a new set

    => Online Service Assistant

    It requires you to enter address details and the serial number of the Ipod, they will then confirm the request and send a new pair to you

    Sorry

    Regards

    Hey,

    The Ipod headphones work on my Ipod, but not on my computer lol.

    When I plug in a Logitech Headset (USB, not Jack), the sound works fine. It's just that I prefer to use my Ipod headphones Smile

    I think it may just be a problem with the Jack.

    I have also heard that if you dont put the headpohones jack in all the way they should work, Think the ipod jacks are set up differently so the top of the jacks aren't generating a current unlike other makes of headphones

    You can only try and see Cheese
