    1. Are the pictures formats the same in Microsoft (Windows, Vista) and in other like Mac or Linux?

    2. Are there folder icons in Mac and Linux and do the pics must be in .ico format to be set as folder icons in Mac/Linux?

    In Microsoft PC's all the formats are the same and all the Mac formats are the same however they both use different format settings for icons

    Microsoft use .ico
    Mac use .dmg
    Linux use .osx (However can change depending on the version of Linux being used)

    Non of them are cross Operating System compatible and can only be used on the specified operating systems that make them.

    😁

    regards

    No unfortunately there won't be an option to save images as icons

    However you can use this really, really handy online converter

    It is fast and easy to use

    => bradleygill : Image 2 .ico

    😁

    Regards
